NATURAL BLACK DYE WITH INDIGO AND HENNA

 

STEP 1 - Mix desired amount of Henna powder with Tea water / Coffee water or Lemon juice to form a smooth paste and leave it overnight to release the dye. Next day, apply the paste on clean hair for 1-2 hour. Rinse well with water and let hair dry.

 

STEP 2 - Mix desired amount of Indigo leaf powder with warm water and 1tsp salt to form a paste and leave it for 15-30 min to release dye. Apply the paste on hair for 1-2 hour depending on preferred intensity and wash it off thoroughly only with water. Wash your hair witcleansing shampoo the next day.



NOTES :-

  • Make sure paste if of right consistency, neither too dry nor too wet and runny.
  • Make sure your hair is not greasy while applying these natural dyes.
  • Recommend adding Egg/ coconut milk/ yogurt in henna paste for conditioning hair.
  • The longer you allow the paste to soak, more darker the dye colour will be.
